The Alarm.com ADC-VC847PF is a professional dome camera for entrances, driveways, parking areas, covered walkways and interior spaces where the final view may need careful adjustment. Its low-profile housing is less visually intrusive than a bullet camera, while 1080p HDR and WDR imaging help preserve usable detail when a scene contains both bright light and deep shade.
The motorized 3.2-9.8 mm P-iris lens can be adjusted remotely from a wide 116-degree view to a tighter 34-degree view, with manual focus control and autofocus available after the focal length changes. For a home with a long driveway or a business with a narrow entrance lane, that flexibility lets Allied Home Security build a better-framed video security and surveillance system without locking in the final composition before the camera is mounted.
Integrated infrared illumination provides visibility in complete darkness at distances up to approximately 95 feet. Video Analytics can distinguish people, vehicles and animals, while Business Activity Analytics can support occupancy tracking, people counting, queue monitoring, crowd gathering and heat mapping when paired with a compatible Alarm.com service plan. Live video and recorded events remain available through the Alarm.com app or website.
Recording options include cloud clips, encrypted 24/7 onboard microSD recording and a compatible Stream Video Recorder. A 10/100 Ethernet connection supports 802.3af Type 1 PoE so network and power can share one cable, with regulated 12 VDC available as an alternative. The IP66 enclosure resists dust and water, IK10 impact protection adds durability in reachable locations, and an included dark-gray cover gives the installer another finish option.
