Description
The Alarm.com ADC-VC728PF is a 4MP bullet camera for locations that need a clearly directed view and more reach than a fixed wide-angle lens can provide. Its adjustable ball-joint mount and IP66 housing make it a practical choice for driveways, detached buildings, parking areas, loading approaches, fenced boundaries and other indoor or outdoor locations exposed to dust and Texas weather.
A motorized 3.2-9.8 mm P-iris lens lets the installer remotely shift from a broad 116-degree view to a focused 34-degree view without relying on digital enlargement. At a home, that can mean tightening the frame on a long driveway or gate; in commercial video surveillance, it can mean concentrating 4MP detail on a parking entrance, loading area or controlled access point instead of wasting pixels on nearby walls or sky.
HDR and WDR improve visibility across mixed lighting, while integrated IR provides grayscale night viewing to approximately 95 feet. Video Analytics can identify people, vehicles and animals, and Business Activity Analytics can add occupancy, people-counting, queue, crowd and heat-map insights with a compatible Alarm.com plan. Perimeter Guard can trigger the camera’s buzzer and flash its status LED when a rule detects unwanted activity.
Customers can review cloud clips and encrypted onboard microSD footage through the Alarm.com app or website, and a compatible Stream Video Recorder can provide continuous recording. The 10/100 Ethernet port supports 802.3af PoE for a clean single-cable network and power connection, while regulated 12 VDC is available when the installation calls for separate power.
