Description

The UNICORN combines centralized video management with local storage in a 3U server. The manufacturer specifies management for up to 2,000 channels, while recording storage is separately limited to 256 streams and 512 Mbps. These are distinct capacities, not a promise to record 2,000 cameras on one unit.

Sixteen hot-swappable SATA bays and multiple RAID levels provide storage planning options. Operators can work with maps, alarm records and video-wall layouts, and the server provides two HDMI outputs plus VGA. Dual 4K HDMI output disables VGA; client playback and analytics depend on the connected devices and system configuration.
