Description
The Alarm.com CSVR2016P is the direct-connect model in the Pro Series lineup. Its 16-port PoE switch can power and network a complete 16-camera deployment from the recorder, reducing the need for an additional camera switch while continuously recording up to 4MP streams.
That architecture works well across offices, warehouses, medical facilities, and other properties where cameras are spread across many critical areas. The Alarm.com for Business platform ties recorded video to meaningful system events, while app and web access let authorized users investigate from off site. Two 4K outputs also support a detailed local monitoring station, a useful part of Allied’s warehouse security system designs for doors, aisles, loading areas, and exterior approaches.
The 1U chassis accepts two surveillance drives up to 16TB each. This zero-terabyte configuration leaves storage open for a site-specific retention plan, with USB 3.0 available for fast evidence export. It is the most straightforward CSVR choice when all 16 cameras need their own built-in PoE connection.
