The Alarm.com CSVR2008P balances direct camera connectivity with room to expand. Eight built-in PoE ports can power and connect the core camera locations, while the recorder supports up to 16 total streams at up to 4MP through the commercial Alarm.com video platform.
For a store, restaurant, or service counter, that layout can place PoE cameras at the entrances, register area, sales floor, and stockroom without requiring a separate switch for every run. Event-tagged footage is available from the Alarm.com app or website, and two 4K outputs give on-site staff a detailed multi-camera view. It is a natural fit within Allied’s retail security and surveillance planning when remote access and local evidence both matter.
Two internal bays support up to 16TB per drive, or 32TB total, and USB 3.0 supports fast clip and archive exports. The zero-terabyte SKU allows Allied to size the drives around camera activity and retention goals. Choose this model when eight direct PoE connections cover the main cameras but the system may grow to 16 channels.
