The Alarm.com CSVR2000P brings 24/7 local recording into the Alarm.com for Business platform without forcing every camera onto a built-in switch. Its dedicated Gigabit camera-network port is designed for a managed network architecture, while the recorder handles up to 16 streams at up to 4MP.
Recorded video can be tagged alongside events such as an alarm or access-control activity, helping a manager move to the relevant footage instead of scrubbing through hours of video. Local operators can use two 4K displays for live view, playback, clip export, and archive export. That combination fits an Allied commercial video surveillance system that needs both centralized app access and a full local record.
The 1U chassis has two drive bays supporting up to 16TB each, for a verified maximum of 32TB. This zero-terabyte configuration ships without hard drives so storage can be sized for the site’s retention requirements. It is the right CSVR when cameras connect through an existing or separately managed network rather than a built-in multiport PoE switch.
