Description
The black Allied 5MP Motion Dual Light Defender Camera combines higher-resolution evidence with a finish that sits quietly against dark soffits, exposed beams, storefront trim and modern exterior surfaces. A 2.8mm fixed lens provides a wide 110-degree horizontal view, while the 1/2.7-inch sensor captures the added detail needed to review people, packages, vehicles and movement across busy residential or business areas.
Native 5MP output gives compatible TVI and AHD recorders a 2592 x 1944 image at 20 frames per second. In CVI mode, the camera supports 2880 x 1620 at 25 frames per second, and projects that favor smoother motion or lower storage use can select 4MP or 1080p at up to 30 frames per second. This flexibility lets Allied Home Security match resolution and frame rate to the scene instead of forcing every camera location into the same recording profile.
The Motion Dual Light Defender design combines two infrared illuminators with two white lights, each rated to reach up to 131 feet. In TVI mode with a compatible UNV DVR/XVR, recorder analytics can keep routine nighttime coverage in infrared and call for white light when motion or a supported smart object is detected. That targeted light restores color around the event without requiring the area to remain brightly lit all night.
Audio is captured through the built-in microphone and carried over coax in supported TVI and CVI modes. The camera also supports TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS video through its BNC connection, which can make it a practical higher-resolution upgrade for qualifying existing analog cabling. DWDR, backlight and highlight compensation, 2D noise reduction, IP67 protection and 4kV surge resistance round out a camera built for clear, dependable coverage indoors or outside.
