Description
The Allied 2MP Two-Way Audio Active Deterrence TVI Camera adds an active response to everyday surveillance. Its 2.8mm fixed lens records 1080p video at up to 30 frames per second and covers a wide 96.5-degree horizontal view, making it well suited for entrances, driveways, front counters, hallways and work areas. A built-in microphone and speaker let a compatible system capture sound and support real-time conversation through the same coax-based camera connection.
After dark, the camera can use infrared, white light or dual-light operation, with both illuminators reaching up to 131 feet. When paired with a supported Q4-series XVR in TVI 1080p mode, the white light and built-in speaker can provide visible and audible warnings as well as two-way communication. This gives a property owner the ability to address a visitor, guide an employee or call attention to unwanted activity instead of only reviewing footage afterward.
Image controls include DWDR, backlight compensation, highlight compensation and 2D/3D noise reduction to help preserve useful detail in uneven lighting. The camera can also switch among TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS output formats for broader analog-system compatibility. The advanced audio and deterrence functions depend on a compatible Q4-series recorder with current firmware, so Allied Home Security matches the camera and recorder as one complete system rather than leaving compatibility to chance.
