Description
The white Allied 2MP Motion Dual Light Defender Camera gives homes and businesses a clean-looking way to capture useful detail around doors, driveways, side yards, counters and work areas. Its 2.8mm fixed lens records 1080p video at up to 30 frames per second and covers a broad 100.9-degree horizontal view, helping one camera watch more of the scene without making people at normal viewing distances look too small.
With a compatible UNV XVR, Smart Dual Light can keep infrared active during routine low-light viewing and switch to white light when the recorder detects a target. That change brings color back into the area where activity is happening without leaving a bright light on continuously. Both the IR and white-light illuminators reach up to 131 feet, and ColorHunter processing supports clearer color detail when visible light is available.
A built-in microphone sends synchronized audio over the same coaxial run as the video, adding context that silent footage cannot provide. The camera can output TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS video, while smart dual-light operation is available in TVI mode. Motion and smart-object behavior depend on the compatible DVR/XVR configuration, so Allied Home Security matches the camera and recorder instead of treating the light automation as a stand-alone camera feature.
The white finish blends naturally with light soffits, ceilings and exterior trim. In Allied’s Motion Dual Light Defender camera system, DWDR, backlight and highlight compensation, and 2D/3D noise reduction help handle uneven lighting across real properties. An IP67 enclosure, 4kV surge protection and a -22 to 140 degrees F operating range prepare the camera for dependable indoor or outdoor placement.
