Description
The black Allied 2MP Motion Dual Light Defender Camera is built for locations where the camera should stay visually quiet until its light is needed. Its dark turret housing suits black soffits, exposed beams, storefronts, warehouses and modern interiors, while the 2.8mm lens provides a wide 100.9-degree horizontal view for entrances, vehicle approaches and open work areas.
The camera records 1080p video at up to 30 frames per second and uses ColorHunter processing to preserve useful color detail when visible light is present. In low light, its IR illuminators can watch up to 131 feet without a bright glow across the scene. When a compatible UNV XVR detects a target, Smart Dual Light can switch to white illumination for color footage around the activity, then return to infrared when the event clears.
Allied Home Security configures the recorder-driven detection behind the Motion Dual Light Defender so the lighting response fits the protected area instead of reacting without context. The camera documentation supports smart dual light in TVI mode; motion and smart-object decisions come from the compatible DVR/XVR, not from a separate onboard analytics engine.
A built-in microphone carries synchronized audio over coax, helping recorded video answer more than what happened visually. The BNC output can be switched among TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS for broader analog compatibility, and DWDR, BLC, HLC and 2D/3D noise reduction help stabilize difficult lighting. With IP67 protection, 4kV surge resistance and operation from -22 to 140 degrees F, the black version is ready for discreet indoor or outdoor installation.
