Description
The Allied 2MP Dark Defender Camera delivers dependable 1080p coverage for the places people move through every day: front and back doors, driveways, hallways, stockrooms, service counters and smaller exterior approaches. Its 2.8mm fixed lens provides a broad 101.5-degree horizontal view, helping a single camera cover the scene without making normal-distance subjects too small to review.
LightHunter technology uses a high-sensitivity 1/2.9-inch sensor to hold more usable detail as available light fades. When the scene reaches complete darkness, two Smart IR illuminators provide black-and-white night viewing up to 131 feet while automatically managing infrared intensity around nearby subjects. DWDR, backlight and highlight compensation, digital defog, and 2D/3D noise reduction further support clear footage in changing real-world lighting.
The Allied Dark Defender camera also includes a built-in microphone, allowing supported TVI and CVI recording modes to carry synchronized audio over the coaxial video run. Switchable TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS output gives Allied Home Security flexibility when matching the camera to a compatible DVR/XVR or evaluating a qualifying existing-cable takeover.
With a compatible recorder, motion, object-detection and perimeter analytics can help customers find important events without treating every hour of continuous footage the same. Those smart features are supplied by the matched recording system, not by stand-alone processing inside this analog camera. An IP67 enclosure, 4kV surge protection and a -22 to 140 degrees F operating range make this a practical indoor or outdoor option for both homes and businesses.
