Resolution

See the Difference More Pixels Make

Higher resolution records more pixels in each frame, which gives you more detail to work with when reviewing faces, vehicles, packages, and activity.

This product 2688 x 1520
720p 1280 x 720 0.9 million pixels
1080p 1920 x 1080 2.1 million pixels
2K / 1440p 2560 x 1440 3.7 million pixels This product
4K 3840 x 2160 8.3 million pixels

Resolution labels describe output dimensions. Aspect ratio, lens quality, sensor quality, lighting, compression, and recorder settings also affect usable image detail.

Night Vision

What You Can Expect After Dark

Night-vision technologies solve different problems. Compare the same scene below; this product's supported modes are highlighted.

IR Night Vision view of a backyard at night On this product

IR Night Vision

Black-and-white visibility without visible light, ideal for discreet overnight monitoring.

Dual Light view of a backyard at night

Dual Light

Uses IR normally, then activates a spotlight for full-color detail when it matters.

Color Night Vision view of a backyard at night

Color Night Vision

Retains useful color from ambient light without requiring a visible spotlight.

Ultra Color Night Vision view of a backyard at night

Ultra Color Night Vision

Advanced low-light processing preserves the clearest color and background detail in very dark scenes.

The examples explain relative viewing modes. Actual brightness, color, and range depend on the camera, placement, and available ambient light.

Description

The PKC2640@Z80-IR-P combines license-plate recognition and vehicle access control in a weather-resistant bullet camera. Its 8-32 mm lens lets installers frame a traffic lane, and the manufacturer specifies road applications at speeds up to 80 km/h. Main-stream capture reaches 2688 x 1520 at 30 fps.

This is the infrared version, with four IR LEDs and illumination rated up to 50 m. Allowlist and blocklist capacity is 20,000 entries each, and relay output supports configurable barrier-opening policies. A built-in junction box stores the tail cable; power comes from 12 V DC or 802.3at PoE.

Key Features

  • 4MP, 1/1.8-inch CMOS; 2688 x 1520 at up to 30 fps
  • 8-32 mm lens; horizontal FOV 42.4 to 15.9 degrees
  • IR-P variant: four infrared LEDs, illumination up to 50 m; not the warm-light P variant
  • Road applications up to 80 km/h; plate capture still depends on installation geometry and regional plate support
  • Allowlist and blocklist: 20,000 entries each
  • One barrier-control relay output; two Boolean inputs; RS485
  • MicroSD up to 256 GB with ANR
  • 120 dB WDR; H.264 and H.265 compression
  • IP67 and IK10; built-in junction box
  • 12 V DC or IEEE 802.3at Class 4 PoE; maximum 20 W
