Resolution

See the Difference More Pixels Make

Higher resolution records more pixels in each frame, which gives you more detail to work with when reviewing faces, vehicles, packages, and activity.

This product 2592 x 1944
720p 1280 x 720 0.9 million pixels
1080p 1920 x 1080 2.1 million pixels
2K / 1440p 2560 x 1440 3.7 million pixels
4K 3840 x 2160 8.3 million pixels

Resolution labels describe output dimensions. Aspect ratio, lens quality, sensor quality, lighting, compression, and recorder settings also affect usable image detail.

Description

The IPC815SB-ADF14K-I0 pairs a 1.4 mm fisheye lens with a 5MP sensor to capture a broad scene from a shallow, 43.7 mm-high housing. The lens covers 180 degrees horizontally and vertically, while the main stream records 2592 x 1944 at up to 30 fps.

Dual microphones and audio input/output support sound capture and an external audio system; the camera does not contain a speaker. Infrared illumination reaches 10 m, and 120 dB WDR helps with backlit areas. IP66 and IK10 protection, PoE power and a microSD slot up to 512 GB round out the installation options.
