Description
The Allied 8MP 4K Motorized Varifocal IR Turret Camera gives the installer control over both scene width and viewing distance. Its 2.8-12mm autofocus lens moves from a broad 107.4-degree overview to a tighter 29.2-degree view, making one camera adaptable to driveways, gates, long hallways, parking areas, loading approaches and other locations where a fixed lens may show too much empty space or too little detail.
A 1/2.8-inch sensor records 3840 x 2160 video at up to 20 frames per second, while LightHunter technology improves image quality in low illumination. Smart IR reaches 131.2 feet without adding visible light, and 120 dB true WDR, highlight compensation, backlight compensation, digital defog and 2D/3D noise reduction help maintain a more useful picture around headlights, open doors, reflective pavement and deep shadows.
Smart Intrusion Prevention can classify people, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles across line-crossing, intrusion, enter-area and leave-area rules. Ultra Motion Detection, standard motion, tampering and audio detection add more event options, while people-flow counting and crowd-density detection can help organize activity around a business entrance or shared area. The built-in microphone captures sound with the video, giving recorded events more context when audio is useful.
Because every property has different distances and choke points, Allied can tune this varifocal IR camera during a tailored home or business installation instead of accepting a fixed view. Footage can record to a MicroSD card up to 512GB or a compatible NVR, with ANR and NAS support for additional local-storage flexibility. PoE simplifies cabling, 12V DC offers another power option, and the metal IP67 and IK10 housing is built for exposed or higher-risk locations.
