Resolution

See the Difference More Pixels Make

Higher resolution records more pixels in each frame, which gives you more detail to work with when reviewing faces, vehicles, packages, and activity.

Night Vision

What You Can Expect After Dark

Night-vision technologies solve different problems. Compare the same scene below; this product's supported modes are highlighted.

IR Night Vision view of a backyard at night On this product

IR Night Vision

Black-and-white visibility without visible light, ideal for discreet overnight monitoring.

Dual Light view of a backyard at night

Dual Light

Uses IR normally, then activates a spotlight for full-color detail when it matters.

Color Night Vision view of a backyard at night

Color Night Vision

Retains useful color from ambient light without requiring a visible spotlight.

Ultra Color Night Vision view of a backyard at night On this product

Ultra Color Night Vision

Advanced low-light processing preserves the clearest color and background detail in very dark scenes.

The examples explain relative viewing modes. Actual brightness, color, and range depend on the camera, placement, and available ambient light.

Description

The Allied 8MP 4K AI License Plate and Traffic Camera is designed for vehicle approaches where a general overview camera may not preserve the detail needed for review. When a vehicle crosses a configured tripwire, the camera can capture a license-plate image and collect related vehicle information. Up to four lanes can be configured, with high-pole and low-pole application modes for different entrance layouts.

At a gated home, private drive, apartment entrance, storefront access point or business parking lane, Allied’s license plate IP camera combines a focused vehicle view with a full 8MP surveillance image. Its 2.7-13.5mm motorized P-iris lens provides 5X optical zoom and a 104.7-degree to 49.1-degree horizontal field of view, allowing the installer to frame the actual vehicle path instead of relying on a wide scene that leaves plates too small to be useful.

A large 1/1.8-inch sensor records 3840 x 2160 video at up to 30 frames per second. Wise-ISP processing, color sensitivity down to 0.001 lux, infrared illumination up to 262.5 feet and 130 dB optical WDR help manage low light, headlights, bright gates and deep shadows. Electronic image stabilization, highlight and backlight compensation, digital defog and 2D/3D noise reduction provide additional control for difficult exterior scenes.

Traffic monitoring is supported by a broader set of analytics. Face detection can select strong snapshots and collect face attributes, while people-flow counting and crowd-density monitoring add context around nearby entrances. Smart Intrusion Prevention classifies people, vehicles and non-motor vehicles for line-crossing, intrusion, enter-area and leave-area rules. Ultra Motion Detection, standard motion, tampering, audio, scene-change, defocus, object-left-behind and object-removal events provide more ways to organize alerts and recorded evidence.

Built-in dual microphones capture sound, and an audio input and output support two-way communication with a compatible external speaker. The camera also includes one alarm input, one alarm output and an RS485 interface. Recordings can be stored on a microSD card up to 512GB or sent to a compatible NVR, NAS or ANR system. PoE and 12V DC power options, an IP67 and IK10 enclosure, 6kV surge protection and a -22 to 140 degree F operating range support demanding indoor or outdoor installations. Allied Home Security tunes the mounting height, lane angle, zoom and exposure around the actual vehicle path, because dependable plate evidence starts with a purpose-built view.
