The Allied 8MP 4K AI ISP Active Deterrence Turret Camera is built for properties where the quality of the recorded evidence matters just as much as the immediate response. Its 3840 x 2160 image at 30 frames per second, wide 108.1-degree view, integrated speaker and dual microphones make it a strong fit for driveways, parking rows, gated approaches, storefronts, service entrances and other areas where a home or business may need to see fine detail and address activity in real time.
At the center of the camera is a large 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor paired with an F1.0 lens. ColorHunter with Wise-ISP processing helps preserve useful color and motion detail after dark, with both smart infrared and warm light reaching up to 98.4 feet. 130 dB true WDR, highlight compensation, backlight compensation, digital defog and 2D/3D noise reduction help control glare from headlights, exterior lighting, glass doors and high-contrast entrances.
The 8MP model also gives a compatible NVR more context for finding the events that matter. Smart Intrusion Prevention can distinguish people, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles while supporting line-crossing, intrusion, enter-area and leave-area rules. People-flow counting and crowd-density monitoring are useful for customer entrances and shared spaces, while Ultra Motion Detection, object-removed and object-left-behind events, tampering and audio detection provide additional ways to review activity without treating every change in the image the same.
When Allied designs a home or business surveillance system around vehicle areas, exterior doors or broad approaches, the 4K model is the right choice when more pixels can help clarify clothing, carried objects, vehicle features or movement across the scene. Built-in two-way audio lets an authorized user speak through the camera, while the dual-light system can illuminate the same area for a configured visual and audio response.
Footage can be stored on a microSD card up to 512GB or sent to a compatible NVR, with ANR and NAS support available for a more resilient local recording plan. PoE keeps installation to one network cable, and 12V DC provides an alternate power option.
