Resolution

See the Difference More Pixels Make

Higher resolution records more pixels in each frame, which gives you more detail to work with when reviewing faces, vehicles, packages, and activity.

1080p 1920 x 1080 2.1 million pixels

Resolution labels describe output dimensions. Aspect ratio, lens quality, sensor quality, lighting, compression, and recorder settings also affect usable image detail.

Night Vision

What You Can Expect After Dark

Night-vision technologies solve different problems. Compare the same scene below; this product's supported modes are highlighted.

IR Night Vision view of a backyard at night On this product

IR Night Vision

Black-and-white visibility without visible light, ideal for discreet overnight monitoring.

Dual Light view of a backyard at night On this product

Dual Light

Uses IR normally, then activates a spotlight for full-color detail when it matters.

Color Night Vision view of a backyard at night On this product

Color Night Vision

Retains useful color from ambient light without requiring a visible spotlight.

Ultra Color Night Vision view of a backyard at night

Ultra Color Night Vision

Advanced low-light processing preserves the clearest color and background detail in very dark scenes.

The examples explain relative viewing modes. Actual brightness, color, and range depend on the camera, placement, and available ambient light.

Description

The Allied 8MP 4K 180-Degree Dual-Lens Active Deterrence Camera gives homes and businesses a wider way to cover spaces that are difficult to frame with one standard camera. Across a broad driveway, patio, side yard, storefront, parking row or loading area, its two lenses combine into one 180-degree active deterrence view so activity can be followed across the scene without a large blind spot between separate cameras.

The stitched panoramic image records at 4096 x 1860 and up to 20 frames per second. Dual fixed 2.8mm F1.0 lenses feed an 8MP, 1/2.5-inch sensor system, while ColorHunter processing helps preserve useful color after dark. Smart infrared and warm light both reach up to 98.4 feet. 130 dB true WDR, highlight and backlight compensation, digital defog and 2D/3D noise reduction help keep the panorama usable when headlights, exterior fixtures, open doors or deep shadows create uneven lighting across the frame.

Wide coverage is paired with an immediate response layer. Built-in dual microphones and a speaker support two-way audio, while integrated red and blue warning lights can make the camera visibly noticeable during a configured deterrence event. A homeowner can use that combination to address activity around vehicles, a gate or a backyard approach; a business can use it at a storefront, receiving area or open parking space where seeing the entire approach matters.

Smart Intrusion Prevention classifies people, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles before applying line-crossing, intrusion, enter-area and leave-area rules. Ultra Motion Detection, standard motion, tampering and audio events provide additional ways to organize recordings, while people-flow counting and crowd-density monitoring can add context around entrances or shared spaces. Auto Scene Match and color retrieval work with the image and event tools to make reviewed footage easier to interpret.

Local storage supports a microSD card up to 512GB, with compatible NVR, ANR and NAS recording available for a broader system. PoE carries power and data over one cable, and 12V DC offers an alternate power option. The metal housing is rated IP67 and IK10, includes 4kV surge protection and operates from -22 to 140 degrees F, making the compact turret suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor installations.
