Description
The Alarm.com ADC-VC729P is designed for projects that favor a dedicated Ethernet connection over Wi-Fi. Its wired path suits homes, shops, warehouses and other properties where installers want consistent network performance for outdoor video and a high-output floodlight at the same location.
The camera records 4MP video up to 2688 x 1520 through a 117-degree horizontal field of view. Infrared night vision extends to approximately 49 feet, and the pair of adjustable 3,000-lumen floodlights can illuminate a wide exterior area in full color.
Power can come from an 802.3bt Type 3 PoE++ source or a separate 24 VDC, 2A supply. The 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 connection carries network traffic, and PoE++ can simplify a compatible installation by delivering the higher power this floodlight camera requires; standard PoE and PoE+ are not sufficient.
People, animal and vehicle detection works with Video Analytics, Business Activity Analytics and Perimeter Guard to create more useful alerts and proactive responses. Red and blue warning lights, audible warnings and two-way audio strengthen deterrence, while encrypted microSD recording up to 1.5 TB provides continuous local history through Alarm.com Smart View.
