Description
The white Honeywell Home 5816WMWH combines a conventional magnetic door/window contact with a separate closed-circuit input. The built-in reed switch can supervise the opening beside the transmitter, while the wired loop can carry a nearby compatible contact back through the same 345 MHz device. Either zone may be used alone or both may be enrolled.
A removable mounting plate simplifies access for service, and the included hardware supports a clean surface installation. The supervised CR123A battery is replaceable, the cover is tamper-protected, and the transmitter measures 3-1/16 x 1-9/16 x 1-3/16 inches. The magnet must stay within the listed 0.5-inch spacing through the full travel of the opening.
That two-zone format can be valuable during an Allied existing-system takeover, particularly when a dependable wired contact is already in place but the panel connection needs to move onto compatible 5800-series wireless. Allied checks each loop separately so an alarm, tamper, or low-battery event is identified correctly at the panel and monitoring account.
