Description
The Resideo LTEM-XV connects compatible VISTA controls to the AlarmNet network over Verizon LTE Cat M1. Alarm events travel from the panel through its ECP bus to the communicator, then on to the central station without relying on a copper phone line that may no longer be dependable or even available.
In a home security system already built around VISTA wiring, keypads, and sensors, the LTEM-XV can update communications while preserving the equipment that still fits the property. Optional Resideo Total Connect service adds remote status, alerts, and supported controls, while AlarmNet diagnostics report signal and message-path health.
Communications are protected with 256-bit AES encryption, and firmware can be serviced over the air.
