Description
The Allied 4MP 5X Active Deterrence PTZ Camera combines a movable viewing platform with the detail and low-light performance needed to watch a large area more deliberately. Instead of leaving one fixed view on screen, the camera can pan from 0 to 345 degrees, tilt from -10 to 100 degrees and use 5X optical zoom to bring a selected entrance, driveway, yard, storefront or work area closer without relying on digital enlargement.
Human-only auto tracking allows the camera to follow a person as they move through the scene. It also supports 1,024 preset positions and 16 patrol routes with up to 64 presets per patrol, making it practical to revisit important views on a schedule. At a home or business with several points of concern, Allied’s active deterrence PTZ camera can alternate between broad awareness and a tighter 5X view while keeping the installation centered at one strategic location.
A large 1/1.8-inch sensor records up to 2688 x 1520 at 30 frames per second. ColorHunter with Wise-ISP processing, color sensitivity down to 0.0005 lux, a 131.2-foot warm light and 120 dB wide dynamic range help preserve color, motion and detail when the scene includes low light, bright doors or uneven exterior illumination. The 2.7-13.5mm motorized lens provides a 113.69-degree to 50.29-degree horizontal field of view, so the camera can move from wide coverage to a more focused look at activity.
Smart Intrusion Prevention can classify people and vehicles for line-crossing and intrusion rules, while Ultra Motion Detection, standard motion, audio and tampering events provide additional ways to organize alerts and recordings. The built-in microphone and speaker support direct two-way conversation and active audio deterrence, while the integrated warm light provides a visible response after dark. One external audio input, one audio output, one alarm input and one alarm output allow deeper integration when the site calls for it.
Recordings can be stored on a microSD card up to 512GB or sent to a compatible NVR. IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and 12V DC power options give the installer flexibility, while a metal IP66 weather-resistant housing, built-in heater, 2kV surge protection and a -22 to 140 degree F operating range prepare the camera for demanding Texas conditions. Allied Home Security configures the patrols, tracking boundaries, zoom positions and deterrence response around the property’s actual layout, helping the camera deliver useful coverage instead of motion for its own sake.
