Resolution

See the Difference More Pixels Make

Higher resolution records more pixels in each frame, which gives you more detail to work with when reviewing faces, vehicles, packages, and activity.

This product 2K
720p 1280 x 720 0.9 million pixels
1080p 1920 x 1080 2.1 million pixels

Resolution labels describe output dimensions. Aspect ratio, lens quality, sensor quality, lighting, compression, and recorder settings also affect usable image detail.

Night Vision

What You Can Expect After Dark

Night-vision technologies solve different problems. Compare the same scene below; this product's supported modes are highlighted.

IR Night Vision view of a backyard at night On this product

IR Night Vision

Black-and-white visibility without visible light, ideal for discreet overnight monitoring.

Dual Light view of a backyard at night

Dual Light

Uses IR normally, then activates a spotlight for full-color detail when it matters.

Color Night Vision view of a backyard at night

Color Night Vision

Retains useful color from ambient light without requiring a visible spotlight.

Ultra Color Night Vision view of a backyard at night

Ultra Color Night Vision

Advanced low-light processing preserves the clearest color and background detail in very dark scenes.

The examples explain relative viewing modes. Actual brightness, color, and range depend on the camera, placement, and available ambient light.

Description

The Allied 8MP Dual-Channel MultiView Dome Camera watches two directions from one compact housing. Each lens produces its own 4MP view, so the camera can cover two related areas without stretching or stitching them into an artificial panorama. A single IP connection carries both channels, helping keep the installation cleaner at corners, intersecting walkways and other locations where two separate viewpoints make more sense than one extra-wide image.

Both 2.8mm fixed lenses can be aimed independently, with up to 180 degrees of pan, 66 degrees of tilt and 346 degrees of rotation during installation. Each channel provides a 97.68-degree horizontal field of view and records up to 2688 x 1520 at 25 frames per second. Positioned at the corner of a home or building, Allied’s dual-dome MultiView camera can watch a driveway and side yard, two hallway directions, a storefront and sidewalk, or a loading entrance and the area beside it from one mounting point.

Color sensitivity down to 0.002 lux, smart infrared up to 98.4 feet and 130 dB true WDR help both views handle low light, backlit doors and uneven exterior illumination. Highlight compensation, backlight compensation, digital defog and 2D/3D noise reduction provide additional image control when the scene includes glare, haze or deep shadows.

Smart Intrusion Prevention can apply line-crossing, intrusion, enter-area and leave-area rules to both channels while classifying people, vehicles and non-motor vehicles. Channel one also supports people-flow counting and crowd-density monitoring. Ultra Motion Detection, standard motion, tampering, audio, object-left-behind and object-removal events give customers more ways to organize alerts and recordings around the activity that matters.

Built-in dual microphones capture sound, and an audio input and output support two-way communication when a compatible external speaker is connected. A microSD card up to 512GB provides edge storage, while compatible NVR, NAS and ANR recording can protect footage as part of a larger system. PoE or 12V DC power, a metal IP67 and IK10 enclosure, 4kV surge protection and a -22 to 140 degree F operating range prepare it for demanding indoor or outdoor use. Allied Home Security aims each channel around the property’s actual risks, so the second view adds meaningful coverage instead of simply duplicating the first.
