Description
The Linear GoControl GD00Z-8-GC connects one compatible sectional garage door opener to a Z-Wave controller. It reports whether the door is open or closed through its wireless tilt sensor and accepts open/close commands from a compatible hub, giving the garage a useful place in connected arrival and departure routines.
Safety behavior is built into every remote close command: an audible beeper and flashing light warn for five seconds before the door moves. The controller uses 908.42 MHz Z-Wave communication, while the included tilt sensor reports door position over its own 345 MHz link.
Once enrolled in a broader home automation system, test status changes and multiple full open/close cycles before enabling routines.
