Description
The System Sensor COSMOD2W is the required two-wire interface between compatible COSMO-2W combination detectors and an alarm panel. It supports up to 12 compatible COSMO-2W and/or 2WTA-B detectors, translating loop activity into distinct smoke and carbon monoxide alarm zones instead of treating every event as one generic condition.
The module also reports loop faults, smoke-maintenance needs, CO trouble and end-of-life conditions, and freeze trouble from compatible detectors. EZ Walk testing helps verify loop communication, while synchronized Temporal 3 smoke and Temporal 4 CO sounder control gives occupants a clearer audible distinction between alarm types.
