ImagePerfect firmware, CMR recording, and support for up to 64 HD camera streams help a compatible recorder capture steady footage day and night without relying on a desktop-class drive.

The 2TB capacity is a useful step up for a home, office, or small storefront that wants more history available before older footage is overwritten. It works in systems with up to eight bays and carries a 180TB-per-year workload rating, one million-hour MTBF, and three-year warranty. For customers balancing retention and cost, this is the stronger small-system value in the SkyHawk pair.

Its ImagePerfect firmware and CMR recording technology are tuned for steady video workloads, supporting up to 64 HD camera streams in systems with up to eight drive bays.

One terabyte is a sensible starting point for a compact home or small-business system with a modest camera count or shorter retention target. With a 180TB-per-year workload rating and three-year limited warranty, it gives compatible DVR and NVR systems storage made for video rather than ordinary desktop use. It keeps the budget focused while using a drive designed for continuous surveillance recording.
