Resideo WAVE2 106 dB Indoor Dual-Tone Siren

The Resideo WAVE2 is a compact hardwired siren that produces a 106 dB dual-tone alarm at one meter. Its 15-watt design is loud enough for many residential and commercial interiors while fitting a single-gang box or mounting directly to a wall, corner, or ceiling.

A snap-open hinged cover keeps the housing together during installation, and the built-in terminal strip removes the need to splice or solder the siren leads. A channeled back provides space for cable routing, with vertical or horizontal positioning available when the room layout or existing box dictates the orientation.

Allied sizes the sounder circuit around panel voltage, current capacity, wire length, and the number of attached devices. For an existing system takeover, the siren is load-tested instead of assumed compatible because the old enclosure happens to be present. Final commissioning confirms both tones and audible coverage in the occupied space.
