Description
The Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16-F converts existing wired contacts and powered devices into supervised 319.5 MHz zones for a compatible Qolsys panel. Fifteen inputs support normally open or normally closed security circuits, while a dedicated two-wire smoke loop supports as many as ten approved detectors.
This small-enclosure version is designed to mount within an existing metal alarm cabinet when the original wiring is already organized there. It is a practical foundation for an existing alarm system takeover because door contacts, motions, glass-break sensors, and selected smoke wiring can remain in service after each circuit is inspected and tested.
The module supplies up to 500mA at 12V DC, includes a siren relay, supervises end-of-line resistance, and charges an optional backup battery.
