Description
The Honeywell Home 5802WXT gives a user one clearly defined button for sending a programmed emergency or panic signal to a compatible 5800-series alarm system. Pressing and holding the recessed button for two seconds initiates the transmission, while the built-in LED confirms that the transmitter sent its radio message.
The 1.5-inch housing can be worn around the neck, on the included wristband, from an apparel clip, or on a keychain, and it can also be kept at a bedside or desk. Its water-resistant construction is suitable for shower or bath use under the manufacturer’s limits, but the transmitter should not be immersed deeper than 10 cm for more than one hour. A replaceable CR2032 lithium battery powers supervised check-ins with battery status every 70 to 90 minutes.
