Description
The DSC WT4989 puts common alarm-system controls in a portable two-way wireless key. A backlit icon display can show armed, disarmed, trouble, low-battery, and other supported panel states after a status request, while a built-in buzzer and tactile keys confirm that the remote accepted a button press.
Four one-touch function keys can be programmed for up to six available functions, including Stay arm, Away arm, disarm, panic, or supported command outputs such as a gate, light, or garage-door control. The default panic action requires a three-second press, and the key-lock feature helps prevent unintended commands. Two-way feedback confirms communication with the receiver rather than leaving the user to guess.
A water-resistant housing and multifunction clip support daily carry on a keychain, belt, or vehicle visor. Allied enrolls the WT4989 only with a compatible DSC two-way receiver, maps each function deliberately, and demonstrates the display before handoff.
