Description
The DSC PG9938 is designed for a simple security emergency action: press and hold one large button to send a panic signal to the compatible alarm system. Its uncluttered layout is easier to identify under stress than a multi-function remote, making it practical for a front desk, cash office, manager, or other person who may need discreet portable access to a security panic function.
A two-second activation delay helps reduce accidental alarms, and the built-in LED confirms that the system received the transmission. The compact, water-resistant housing can be worn on the supplied neck strap or attached with the multifunction clip, while PowerG frequency hopping and AES-128 encryption support dependable two-way communication.
The current DSC specification lists up to five years of typical battery life from one CR2032 cell, along with low-battery supervision. Allied programs the response around the property’s monitoring plan and tests operation from the locations where the key will actually be used.
