Description
The DSC PG9929 gives authorized users four programmable buttons in a narrow key-fob body. Common programming can include stay arming, away arming, disarming, and a panic action, while the compatible panel determines the exact commands available for the site.
Visual and audible indicators confirm successful execution instead of leaving the user to wonder whether the panel received the request. An onboard message LED can also report a system-trouble condition, and the panic function requires a full three-second press to reduce accidental alarms; other commands use a shorter one-second delay.
PowerG frequency hopping, adaptive transmission power, and AES-128 encryption support long-range two-way operation, with a published open-air ceiling of 1.24 miles under ideal conditions. The slim 2.64-inch body and included CR2032 battery make it easy to keep on a key ring, while Allied confirms real-world range and button behavior during commissioning.
