The Honeywell Home IS335 is a straightforward hardwired motion detector for living areas, offices, stockrooms, and other indoor spaces where broad PIR coverage is needed without unnecessary complexity. Its custom Fresnel lens creates a 40 x 56 ft pattern with consistent sensitivity from the center of the room toward the edges.

Selectable pet immunity lets the installer configure the detector for animals weighing up to 80 lb. A sealed optical chamber helps keep drafts and insects away from the sensing path, while the black bug guard provides 2,000 lux of white-light immunity against flashlights, reflections, and changing room light. Wall or corner mounting between 7 and 9 ft gives the layout practical flexibility.

For a wired home security system, the IS335 can deliver dependable room coverage without a local battery to replace. Allied positions the detector around actual traffic paths, pets, windows, and HVAC movement, then walk-tests the full pattern before the zone is commissioned.
