DSC PG9984P PowerG Dual-Technology PIR/Microwave Motion Detector

The DSC PG9984P is built for environments where a single sensing method may not provide enough confidence. An alarm is reported after both its mirror-optic PIR and K-band microwave channels detect an intruder, helping reject thermal movement, drafts, vibration, and other disturbances that can challenge ordinary motion sensors.

The detector covers up to 49 feet across a 90-degree pattern and adds True Motion Recognition, digital temperature compensation, anti-masking, front/back tamper, and optional pet immunity up to 88 pounds. Its five-year CR123A battery and two-way PowerG radio support strong coverage without requiring a detector power run.

That dual-confirmation design is especially useful for warehouses, service areas, equipment rooms, and busy commercial interiors.
