DSC PG9914 PowerG Pet-Immune PIR Motion Sensor

The DSC PG9914 is a two-way PowerG motion sensor built to cover ordinary living areas, offices, and interior traffic paths without requiring hardwired detector cable. Fresnel and cylindrical lenses create a uniform 39 x 39-foot pattern, and True Motion Recognition evaluates movement before reporting an intrusion event.

A removable pet mask supports immunity for animals up to 85 pounds, provided the mounting height and room setup follow the installation guide. On compatible systems, the same device can also report ambient temperature. The CR123A battery is rated for six to eight years of typical use, while front/back tamper and low-battery reporting keep service conditions visible at the panel.

The PG9914 is particularly useful when Allied is expanding an existing security system that already supports 915 MHz PowerG devices. A final walk test confirms the real coverage at the selected location instead of assuming the open-room specification applies unchanged around partitions, shelving, or metal construction.
