Description
The DSC PG9200AX uses a matched transmitter and receiver to form an active infrared boundary up to 200 feet outdoors. An alarm is generated when both aligned beams are interrupted for the selected response period, making the pair useful across drive entrances, fenced approaches, large yards, and other defined perimeter lines.
Four selectable beam-frequency channels help nearby pairs operate without cross-talk, and response can be set to 50, 100, 250, or 500 milliseconds for the application. Viewfinders, alignment dials, LED indicators, cover and wall tamper switches, and an IP55 housing support field installation. Four LSH20 batteries power the pair, with typical life rated around three years for the transmitter and five years for the receiver.
In an Allied commercial security system or a large residential property, the PG9200AX can watch a controlled approach after the installer accounts for grade changes, vegetation, vehicles, snow or debris, and the panel’s exact Qolsys compatibility.
