The Bosch ISC-PDL1-W18G is built for commercial interiors that need more range and more disciplined alarm decisions than a standard room PIR. Its long-range pattern reaches 60 x 80 ft and can be switched to a 25 x 33 ft pattern when the room does not need the full reach.

Sensor-data fusion combines passive infrared, 10.525 GHz microwave, room-temperature information, and signal analysis before reporting an alarm. Tri-focus optics divide the scene into short-, middle-, and long-range zones, while Cloak and Camouflage Detection Technology helps recognize intruders attempting to hide their infrared signature. Cover and wall tampers, a separate trouble relay, sealed optics, active white-light suppression, and remote self-test support higher-risk installations.

On a large sales floor, warehouse aisle, or equipment room, the detector’s range must still stop at the intended boundary.
