Bosch DS9370 360-Degree Ceiling TriTech Motion Detector

The Bosch DS9370 is designed for open interiors where a wall-mounted detector would leave awkward edges or a narrow field. Three independently adjustable PIR sections create 69 zones around the ceiling position, while the microwave channel must agree with the infrared analysis before the Form C alarm relay activates.

Coverage can extend to a 54 ft diameter under applicable configurations; Bosch specifies up to 46 ft for UL and ULC layouts. The detector mounts from 8 to 20 ft high, with 12 ft recommended, and external masks can narrow selected sectors without opening the housing. Microwave supervision, First Step Processing, alarm memory, low/high sensitivity, and cover-and-ceiling tamper protection give the installer meaningful control over a complex space.

Warehouses, retail floors, lobbies, and large meeting areas can benefit from that overhead view. Within an Allied commercial security system, the optical sections and microwave range are adjusted to the actual walls, shelving, and traffic flow, then tested from multiple approach directions before handoff.
