Description
Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless, so reliable detection depends on a purpose-built sensing element rather than human awareness. The DSC PG9933 uses an electrochemical cell to measure CO and sends alarm, tamper, low-battery, and supervision events to a compatible PowerG control panel.
The detector also sounds an 85 dB local alarm and uses a CR123A battery rated for up to five years of typical service. Two-way wireless communication allows the panel to confirm device status, while the link-quality indicator helps an installer choose a location with dependable radio performance.
Allied can integrate the PG9933 into a monitored system while positioning each carbon monoxide detector around sleeping areas, fuel-burning equipment, and floor levels as required by the project.
