Description
The 2GIG SMKT100-345 combines four life-safety and property-protection signals in one supervised device. Its photoelectric chamber is designed to recognize smoke from modern synthetic materials, while fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise logic watch for dangerous heat and a low-temperature threshold can warn of freeze conditions.
A built-in alarm sounds at more than 85 dB at 10 feet, and the compatible 2GIG panel receives the programmed event for local response and any configured monitoring workflow. The rate-of-rise function activates when temperature is above 104 degrees F and climbs 15 degrees or more within one minute, supplementing the fixed high-temperature threshold.
The sensor supports switchable encrypted or non-encrypted 345 MHz signaling and has a projected 10-year battery life from two CR123A batteries.
