Qolsys IQ Glass-S Encrypted Glass Break Sensor

The Qolsys IQ Glass-S listens for the acoustic pattern of breaking framed glass, adding room-wide protection beyond individual door and window contacts. One correctly placed detector can monitor multiple panes within a clear line of sight, making it useful in living rooms, offices, storefront areas, and spaces with several windows.

Two switches set the sensitivity for nominal ranges of 20, 13, 8, or 5 feet. That adjustability helps Allied fit the detector to the room instead of leaving it at maximum in every application. For a glass-heavy property, it can complement a broader business security system without putting a transmitter on every pane.

The IQ Glass-S mounts on a wall or ceiling at least 6.5 feet above the floor and communicates through encrypted 319.5 MHz S-Line signaling. Protected glass must remain within range and clear line of sight, and the completed installation should be tested with the manufacturer-approved glass-break simulator.
