Description
The Honeywell Home FG1625RFM brings FlexGuard glass-break detection into a compact flush-mounted format. Its sleeve installs through a 1 in opening, leaving either a 1.8 in or 2.5 in round front cover visible so the detector can blend more cleanly into finished walls and ceilings.
Four DIP-switch sensitivity settings provide approximate ranges of 5, 10, 15, or 25 ft, and the FG701 simulator verifies the real limit in the room. FlexCore processing evaluates time, frequency, and amplitude characteristics to distinguish a qualifying break from everyday sounds. The detector supports plate, tempered, laminated, wired, coated, and sealed insulating glass and can be located on the ceiling, opposite wall, adjoining wall, or same wall when the installation requirements are met. Its Form A output operates from 8-16V DC.
Flush mounting improves appearance, but the hidden body still needs clear cable space and access for testing. Allied selects the trim size, confirms the 2.6 in sleeve depth, checks room acoustics and window coverings, and verifies every protected pane with the proper simulator.
