DSC PG9922 PowerG Acoustic Glass Break Detector

The DSC PG9922 listens for the acoustic pattern of framed glass breaking and reports the event through a compatible 915 MHz PowerG system. Its omnidirectional microphone can monitor glass in any direction, helping one detector protect several windows or glass doors inside the same unobstructed room.

Maximum range is 25 feet for qualifying glass sizes, with a 20-foot UL/ULC verified limit. The detector supports plate, tempered, wired, laminated, coated, and sealed insulating glass, and its processing is designed to reject sounds that do not match a real break. A CR123A battery provides up to five years of typical service, with tamper, low-battery, and supervision reports returned to the panel.

For storefront glazing, offices, and other exposed interiors, the PG9922 can add a useful second layer to an Allied business security plan. Direct line of sight, room size, nearby speakers or machinery, and the construction of the glass all matter, so Allied verifies the location instead of treating the maximum range as a promise through walls or around corners.
