Description
The Qolsys IQ Flood-S places a conductive water probe at the floor while keeping the wireless transmitter in a practical mounting position. Its six-foot cord reaches under a water heater, washing machine, sink, HVAC drain, or other leak-prone equipment where early notice can limit damage.
When water bridges the probe contacts, the sensor reports the event to a compatible Qolsys panel for local annunciation and supported remote alerts. The separated probe design is especially useful in tight spaces because the transmitter does not have to sit directly in the path of a leak.
S-Line encryption protects the 319.5 MHz transmission, and the compact transmitter uses two CR2032 batteries with a five-year replacement interval.
