Description
The 2GIG FT100-345 separates the wireless transmitter from the water probe with a 45-inch cord. That lets the compact probe sit at the lowest or most vulnerable point while the transmitter remains mounted higher and away from direct contact with water.
Beyond standing-water detection, the sensor reports when ambient temperature reaches 95 degrees F or falls to 41 degrees F. The probe-style layout is especially practical near water heaters, drain pans, under-sink plumbing, and mechanical equipment where the likely leak point is tight or awkward to reach.
The FT100-345 operates at 345 MHz with up to 275 feet of open-air range and uses a CR123A battery projected for five years. Its encryption mode can be switched to suit the compatible 2GIG panel, and Allied tests both the probe and temperature zone after placement.
