GRI 100-T-B Miniature Surface Contacts, Brown, 10-Pack

The GRI 100-T-B combines a miniature brown housing with the flexibility of surface mounting. This sheet-defined ten-pack is suited to wood, aluminum, or vinyl doors and windows where a recessed contact is not practical and a white switch would stand out against darker trim.

Each 100-T-B can be secured through its flange or with 3M adhesive, and the terminal version keeps the field wiring accessible behind the included cover. GRI publishes a standard gap of up to 1 inch for the 100-T family. The normally open Form A reed is closed-loop rated at 10 W, 160 VDC, and 0.4 A, with a hermetically sealed assembly and plated contacts for long service life.

For a tidy home security installation, the brown finish can reduce visual contrast on stained or bronze-colored frames while still leaving the contact serviceable. The mounting surface, magnet alignment, terminal cover, and zone response should all be checked before the opening returns to daily use.
