Description
Dark stained doors and bronze-toned frames can make a bright white transmitter stand out. The DSC WS4945BN solves that visual problem with a brown enclosure sized for narrow trim, while its internal reed switch and matching magnet report the opening to a compatible 433 MHz DSC receiver. The allowed separation is 5/8 inch at most.
The housing also accepts one normally closed external contact for an opening that cannot use the supplied magnet. In that configuration the remote contact replaces the internal reed function, stays in the same room, and uses no more than three feet of wire. Removing the cover or, when configured, pulling the transmitter away from the wall can produce a tamper report.
Allied selects the mounting face, checks alignment through the full swing of the door, and confirms reliable radio reception before the adhesive or screws are finalized. Its less conspicuous finish can make the WS4945BN a thoughtful detail in a business security plan or a wood-trimmed home.
