Description
The DSC PG9309 is built for busy commercial doors and windows where a basic residential contact may not provide enough input flexibility. It combines a magnetic reed switch with two auxiliary hardwired inputs, allowing the local opening and approved external devices to be used at the same time and represented separately when the panel supports it.
The inputs support NO, NC, EOL, DEOL, and TEOL configurations, with the advanced modes and second input dependent on panel version. When enrolled on PowerSeries Pro, the unit can also report ambient temperature to the user app; that supplemental temperature function is useful for awareness but was not evaluated as a UL/ULC life-safety feature.
A visible link-quality LED, front/back tamper protection, and a maximum 0.25-inch magnet gap support a disciplined installation.
