Description
The DSC PG9307 recesses into a compatible door or window frame so the sensor is barely visible when the opening is closed. The cylindrical contact is 2.66 inches long and 0.75 inch in diameter, while the magnet is only 0.08 inch thick to reduce how much material must be removed from the moving surface.
Clear flanges help the sensor blend with different frame colors and can be snapped away after installation for an even lower profile. White and brown adhesive covers are included for the exposed cap and magnet, giving the installer a better chance of matching the finished opening without painting the device.
A CR-2 lithium battery provides up to ten years of typical use, and PowerG supplies encrypted two-way signaling with low-battery supervision. For an Allied home security system, the PG9307 is best reserved for frames with enough depth and structure for proper drilling; Allied confirms those conditions before choosing it over a surface contact.
