Description
The ADI Pro 0E-DC1651W10 is a ten-pack of short, press-fit magnetic contacts for openings where a full-length recessed switch will not fit cleanly. Each white contact slips into a 3/8-inch bore so the switch and matching magnet stay largely out of sight after the door or window closes.
A 3/4-inch closed gap gives the installer useful alignment tolerance, while 12-inch 22 AWG leads simplify the connection to a hardwired zone loop. The normally open Form A reed is intended for a closed alarm loop and carries a published rating of 30 VDC, 0.2 A, and 5 W. High-impact, crush-resistant construction is useful around tight frames where a contact can be exposed to installation pressure.
A concealed contact is often the cleanest choice in a professionally installed home security system, but the final bore depth, magnet position, and loop resistance still need to be tested at the opening. Allied verifies the physical fit and panel response before the contact is placed into service.
