Description
The Honeywell Home 6460S brings detailed VISTA control to locations where a standard white keypad would feel out of place. Its silver-and-black housing works well beside stainless appliances, dark office finishes, garage work areas, and warehouse entrances without giving up the information available from a full alpha display.
The vivid negative-mode LCD presents two lines and 32 characters for custom zone names, system events, and clear prompts. Negative-etched keys and separate Armed and Ready indicators improve visibility, and the four programmable buttons can be assigned to frequently used security, emergency, or compatible control functions.
Power and communication use the familiar four-wire, 12V VISTA ECP bus. The onboard speaker provides audible confirmation for delays, alarms, and system status. The 6460S and 6460W share the same operating features; their distinction is the finish and visual treatment.
